Thousands of Syrian LGBTQIA+ people are exposed to severe safety threats, discrimination and violence in exacerbation of those created by the Syrian crisis and asylum. Syrian LGBTQIA+ people face escalated experiences of economic, social, and security crises, and are fighting for their most basic rights which are often stripped further because of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. We believe that everyone deserves equal rights and that who you are and who you love should not be a factor to consider in the justification of that fact.
